Nowadays, I am doing a PostDoc on RFID Security at the Information and Communication Theory Group , Department of Mediamatics, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, and Computer Science (EEMCS) of the Delft University of Technology. I am immersed in the Pearl project under the supervision of J.C.A v.d. Lubbe. The goal of the PEARL project is to develop practical security controls for RFID-based systems, and a corresponding assessment methodology (More information: Pearl).

Short biography: Pedro Peris-Lopez has a M.Sc. in Telecommunications Engineering and Ph.D. in Computer Science. His research interests are in the field of protocols design, primitives design, lightweight cryptography, cryptanalysis etc. Nowadays, his research is focused on Radio Frequency Identification Systems (RFID). In these fields, he has published a great number of papers in specialized journals and conference proceedings.
